Kay, I learned, really I did. I mean, come on, y’all voted in favour of the manic bang debacle of early February. And there should have been no favouring. You should have said something like, “Dear GAWD, Woman! You should have your hands removed so that you can’t do things like that to yourself,” or an equally appropriate, “you think that looks ok? Are you also delusional about candy raindrops falling from the heavens?”
But, you know, I’m incapable of making a decision by myself lately (always) and well, maybe I learned just a little bit from the bangs. And the fact that I’ve been heavily gelling and moussing and waxing them back into a headband for the past week? Not really being taken into account, here.
So, given my texture, which looks like it could be fine, really, totally workable and tangible and awesome, but it’s so not, what do we think of me chopping off the last year’s growth?
Like so (though obviously, for some amount of time, I’d have to pin my bangs back. Ahem):

is your hair naturally curly? because if it is then it might look good.
otherwise short hair is really boring and you can’t do alot to it. other then pigtails and that should just notttt be allowed.

I friggin’ loved that movie…especially Maggie in that movie so I may be biased here.
I’m inclined to say hell yeah go for it, but like I said…I’m biased.

When I get sick of my hair, I CHOP IT OFF, and it has always worked for me. I say go for it! You’ve got a stunning face that can handle short hair.

That is one of my all-time favorite movies. Just wanted you to know that in case you wanted to pick up a copy, come to my house, and snuggle. As for the hair, chop it. Why not? It will grow back. Wait, this coming from a girl who had short, short hair when she was little and was mistaken for a boy while seling girl scout cookies, no less. I don’t know. Maybe you shouldn’t. But wait, your face is way more feminine (ie. hotter) than mine. Chop it! Yup. That’s my final answer. Even if you end up looking more like Will than Maggie, I’ll love you anyway.

hmmm… i say no, don’t cut it. Because it wasn’t all THAT long ago that you decided to grow it out, remember? And you haven’t even given it a real chance yet. Grow it out and see how you like it, because you’ll always wonder. And THEN if you really don’t like yourself with long hair, cut it all off. C’mon, it’s time to make a serious hairstyle commitment! (To be fair, I should mention that I have hair halfway down my back and have had basically the same hippie-hairstyle for most of my 27 years… but I’m still entitled to an opinion, right??!?!)

I’m in serious need of a cut myself, and I’ve thought (more than once) about “fixing” that situation myself. HOWEVER, I know I’ll just screw it up and it’ll look much worse than it does now! So… I just live with it the best I can (which means cursing at it multiple times a day, and pulling it back daily).
Can we start a makeover fund for us somewhere? LOL!
